PT. Frankipile Indonesia was established on November 8, 1973.
In 1975, equipped only
with 1 Franki rig, 1 Drilling rig, and 2 Diesel Hammers, PT. Frankipile Indonesia
succeeded in completing 7 projects all of various types of piles totaling 2,400 piles
with a total driven length of 39,000 m.
In the following years frankipiles became increasingly popular and had been used
more and more by the public not only in Jakarta but also throughout Indonesia such as
Medan, Palembang, Batam, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Balikpapan,
Manado, Denpasar, and other cities.
In 1984, as there were a large number of projects requiring lighter type of foundations,
PT. Frankipile Indonesia introduced a small type precast pile, Mini Franki MF 28 with
a capacity of 25 ton / pile.
The introduction of this type of pile quickly gained popularity in the piling market,
particularly for 2 to 4 stories building and factory projects.
Later on with the aim to reduce mobilization cost to projects in Eastern Indonesia,
a branch office and casting yard facilities were opened in Surabaya on November 1991.
In 1992 PT. Frankipile Indonesia again introduced the MF 32 type Mini Franki with a
capacity of 40 ton / pile, again, similar to the MF 28, the market's acceptance was very good.
Overall, since starting the operation upto March 2002, PT Frankipile Indonesia has
completed 3474 projects which consists of more than 460,000 piles and total driven
length of 6,755,250 meter.
